INTRODUCING Art Mess - Making a Mess of Art since... (year your child was born)

Take a photo of that messy room, and make a masterpiece out of it. (Don't forget to give it a 'arty' symbolic name!)
"Slain Giraffe in acceptance"
Well, today's piece is called "Slain Giraffe in acceptance".

As you can see, the giraffe is lying slain with a smile. We do not know if this slaying was done to him, or he did it himself. What we do know is that he was happy with the slaying, and accepted it happily. This represents those moments when you say to your child, "don't play under the table, you will hit your head" - they say they wont, and within three minutes you hear a loud bang...

We see half a portrait of a face in the upper left hand corner - the border of orange and black represents some type of anger, or mistake - I mean who actually likes the colour orange? The face is forlorn - opposite in emotion to the giraffe. This represents the incredible sadness and tragedy for an Only Child, when they don't get their own way.

Lastly, the row of books in the upper right hand corner represents mankind's thirst for knowledge, but wait, did the books (mankind's thirst for knowledge) slay the giraffe? Hmm

* Take a photo of that messy room one day and name it.

** No giraffes were really slain in this photo.

*** Apologies to people who actually like orange.

ART MESS - making a mess of Art since ______ (year your child was born).
