Today's ART mess is from a lovely Only Child's bedroom...
We have called this ART mess 'The Titanic 2', as you can see the cruise ship has hit a barbie iceberg in the carpet ocean. The barbie iceberg is made of various bits and pieces of barbie clothes, shoes, food, dolls, chairs, parts of a dream house...
We see a deflated Snow White costume - reminiscent of The Wizard of Oz Witch scene - "I'm melting I'm melting, what a world what a world....". This represents how quickly a new dress or costume can go out of fashion with an Only Child.
We see a box of tissues - partially dented - sitting on the ground. These tissues are obviously there for an Only Child who is either crying a lot, sneezing a lot, or using tissues to wrap up various little doll pieces to give to Mum and Dad as 'prizes' for being a good Mummy and Daddy.
Lastly, we see a small pile of books in the bottom left hand corner of the picture. We see the title Splat the Cat. The word 'splat' echoes the fact that the owner of this bedroom and it's contents does not care in the slightest that her room is a mess.
And there you have it, today's ART mess making fun of Art since your child was born.
